AROMATIC COMPOUNDS          

Here are derivatives of benzene, which act by inhibiting the production of amino acids and enzymes in pathogens. This group includes fungicides such as PCNB, Dichloro, Chlorothalonil and Biphenyl, PCNB is used in the treatment of soil and seeds to control fungi whose habitat is the soil, such as Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia and Plasmodiophora. Is not effective against Fusarium and Pythium

Dichloride is used in treating soil and foliar sprays to control the evil of talluelo, Sclerotium, Sclerotinia and post-harvest rot caused by Botrytis or Rhizopus. The Chlorothalonil is broad spectrum and controls many of foliage diseases such as leaf spots, blight and wooly mildius dusty and rust. The Biphenyl, in addition to controlling diseases later in citrus crops caused by Penicilium, Botryosphaeria, Diaporthe, and Phylasospora, has insecticidal properties.
